FCS TC Aqualine Performance Core Surfboard Tri-Quad 5 Fin Set - Smoke / Aqua The FCS TC Aqualine is a 5 fin set that can be ridden as a thruster or a quad. The quad set is designed for freedom and speed. Features smaller rear fins to encourage a pivotal action while the 70/30 foils ensure positive water attachment creating instant response and added hold. The center and front side fins share the same template and area for use as a thruster. Performance Core (PC) material and construction is designed to deliver the feeling of a traditional glass fin with the added performance of reduced weight. The result is a lightweight fin with remarkable flex, a smooth feel and an impressive aesthetic. The combination of front and rear side fins create a unique and proven quad set-up. Performance Core fins are similar to Performance glass fins only with a lightweight core. They are made by molding a sandwich of lightweight Lantor composite (the honeycomb foam structure) between layers of 4oz fiberglass and polyester resin. All fins feature a small hex core in the base for increased stiffness and a large hex core in the tip for added flex. Rigorously tested by World Champion Tom Carroll, the TC Aqua-Line Tri-Quad allows the rider to utilize the advantages of multiple fin combinations in one set of fins.
